JM Installation | Professional Window Covering Installation

Effective Date: February 12, 2026

1. Services Provided

JM Installation provides professional window covering installation services including but not limited to:

  • Shutters
  • Blinds
  • Shades
  • Drapery hardware
  • Commercial track systems
  • Specialty and ADA-compliant installations

We provide labor and installation services only unless otherwise stated in writing.

2. Estimates & Pricing

  • All estimates are based on information provided at the time of quoting.
  • Final pricing may change if site conditions differ from what was originally disclosed.
  • Additional labor, modifications, or unforeseen structural conditions may result in added charges.
  • Written approval is required before proceeding with additional billable work.

3. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Commercial accounts may have approved billing terms.
  • Late payments may incur additional fees.
  • Returned payments are subject to processing fees.

4. Customer Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

  • Ensure the work area is clear and accessible.
  • Provide accurate measurements if installation is based on third-party sizing.
  • Disclose any structural issues (metal studs, concrete, wiring, etc.).
  • Ensure products delivered to site are correct and undamaged prior to installation.

JM Installation is not responsible for manufacturer defects or incorrect product orders supplied by others.

5. Installation Limitations

JM Installation is not liable for:

  • Wall imperfections or cosmetic damage related to pre-existing conditions.
  • Structural deficiencies hidden behind drywall or finishes.
  • Product performance issues unrelated to installation workmanship.
  • Color variations or material inconsistencies from manufacturers.

Minor touch-up may be required after installation.

6. Warranty

We provide a workmanship warranty on installation labor.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Manufacturer defects
  • Product failure
  • Abuse, misuse, or modification
  • Normal wear and tear

Warranty claims must be submitted in writing.

7. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a service fee.
  • Missed appointments without notice may incur a trip charge.
  • Commercial rescheduling policies may differ by contract.

8. Limitation of Liability

JM Installation’s liability is limited to the cost of installation labor provided.

We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Indemnification

The client agrees to hold JM Installation harmless from claims arising from:

  • Incorrect product manufacturing
  • Structural deficiencies
  • Improper measurements provided by third parties

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State in which the installation service is performed.
